Address Apparel is a Toronto Label based out of Kensington Market, and is designed by Marc Foreman and Kelly A. Blairand. The fall collection is full of dresses with cozy knits, fun prints and unique colour-blocking! Playing on their name – Address Apparel – the label has decided to name each dress style by a different street name in Toronto! How fun is that?! I own the beautiful St. Clair dress from Address’ spring collection, which you can see on my Instagram (and you’ll soon be able to get a closer look here on haute, so stay tuned!).
I couldn’t resist showing you pictures of the hot pink lemonade and address cookies they provided us during the media preview – I chose a Bathurst cookie (shown in pic above) and it was oh-so-delicious.
A little side note: Marc Foreman previously designed under the label ‘Bionic’. You can see my floral ankle length Bionic maxi dress in a recent style post here.
I think it’s pretty safe to say that all of us Canadians know who Jeanne Beker is; so for all my lovelies reading this who aren’t from Canada, let me pause to tell you. Jeanne Beker was the host of CTV’s Fashion Television (which recently ended last year – c’est dommage) and known as one of Canada’s ‘fashion gurus’.
EDIT by Jeanne Beker is a women’s wear line (started in 2010, and is sold at The Bay and Addition Elle), made for women who want style in their day to day wear. In the fall 2013 collection, you’ll see a lot of great prints and textiles. The burn-out blouses are an excellent choice for both work and party; while the knits scream weekend chic.
A new addition to the EDIT by Jeanne Beker collection is the sunglasses. At the media preview, we were spoiled and got to pick a pair to take home with us. With the help of my fellow bloggers and PR friends, I opted for a pair with a very subtle cat-eye for a classic, yet trendy look. I don’t have a picture to show you here, but you’ll definitely be seeing your fair share of them soon! π
While we’re on the topic of glasses and Jeanne Beker, it’s important to make note of the new collaboration between FYSH and Jeanner Beker. FYSH by Jeanne Beker is a collection of stylish eyewear. It features six unique models with four colour variations, plus Jeanne’s signature frame in black and white. Jeanne wanted to design a collection that was certainly wearable, but that was also edgy and fashion forward.
I don’t have the need for prescription glasses (…yet…), but I sure had a great time trying on all the frames to see what I’d look like if I did. My conclusion (based on my selfie above) is that if I had to wear glasses, these FYSH x Jeanne Beker ones would be fun, and I’d look pretty cool. π
You can expect all of these Fall 2013 items to start making their way into stores any day now (right through September). Stay tuned for sneak peeks of more brand’s Fall 2013 collections coming this week!!

I think I’ve fallen in love with Address Apparel. Can’t wait for their FW2013 pieces to launch (I currently own a Union dress from the Spring collection).
They are great π
Pretty sure you need to get those glasses. They look AMAZING on you! (but really, what doesn’t look amazing on you)
hahaha thanks Jacquelyn!! π
Exactly – she looks everything in anything she wears.
