Bellavance – Spring Summer 2014 Collection at The Shows in Toronto

The Bellavance ss14 collection that graced The Shows runway in Toronto was fun to watch because it had a little something of everything. No matter what life throws at you, with this collection there is no excuse to be anything less than well dressed. Pretty dresses, comfortable knits, stylish office attire, covet-worthy outerwear and even sleepwear, Bellavance makes sure you’re covered for spring.

I enjoyed watching these pieces go down the runway because they were unique and fresh. Some pieces had one sleeve, others had asymmetrical gathers; clearly designers Nola Bellavance and Ava Hama have no problem standing out…in the best of ways, of course! These pieces are great for someone who is fashion forward and seeks adventure when it comes to fashion.

Although very different styles, I adored the colour blocking on the first and last dress, pictured above, the most. The first makes me want to sail off into the sunset on a yacht, and the second gives me the urge to attend luxe cocktail party, or perhaps a piano bar!

The fact that I’m fantasizing over where I would wear these looks, is proof enough that the Bellavance spring summer 2014 collection is fabulous!

p.s. Nolan is from Canada (Montreal to be exact) and he and Ava met studying design at Parsons.
