I just watched the spring summer 2014 Calla collection at The Shows in Toronto, and to say I’m in awe is an understatement. Calla Haynes was born in Toronto, but moved to New York and then Paris to master textile and print design. That skill was definitely evident in her current collection, and I was completely amazed.
The runway show left me wanting more. To get even closer to the garments so I could see every detail of the prints; so I could feel the textiles.
Another plus to this Calla collection is that it’s wearable (and I thank her for that); mixing comfort and luxury in the most stylish way. If you’re looking to throw on chic pieces that look stunning with little effort, Calla is your brand!
I have some serious wardrobe envy at the moment, and know I’ll be day dreaming about this collection for a long time. I’ll take one of each please!
What’s your favourite look, and why? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
