Chanel: Fall 2012 Haute Couture Collection – My Favourite Looks

If I could spend every Friday looking through photos of fashion shows, I’d be one extra happy gal!!

On Tuesday, Chanel showed their Fall 2012 Haute Couture collection, in the Grand Palais, at Pairs Haute Couture Fashion Week.  The theme of this collection is “new vintage” – as  Karl Lagerfeld stated that it’s not as depressing as  just “vintage.” Although I don’t agree that vintage is depressing (well, some of it is), I do like the phrase “new vintage” in terms of taking inspiration from vintage looks and making them more modern…which is what I think Karl Lagerfeld did for this Chanel Fall 2012 Haute Couture Collection. He took the traditional Chanel tweed suits and made them suitable for today’s “women of haute couture.”

I am insanely attracted to the colour pallete of this Chanel collection, especially the dusty rose and grey combo!!

Have a great weekend lovelies!

My brain hurts! They’re so beautiful — but I’m not ready for Fall collections! But my God, the silver tones are so bewitching!

haha I know what you mean…I’m in summer mode, yet drooling over these fall looks. The fashion industry works so head of time (necessary, obviously) that I completely agree with it making brains hurt. haha.
