Fashion’s Night Out, Toronto

Not to rub it in, but if you didn’t make it to the first EVER Fashion’s Night Out in Toronto, then you really did miss out!! I highly recommend you make a point of going next year! There were so many events going on, it was impossible to check them all out. I made it to the Eluxe party, Holt Renfrew’s 175th Anniversary Street Party, and Hazelton Lanes’ Shopping Soiree – you can experience the events through my picture collages below!

Holt Renfrew’s “Hot In The City” Street Party:

There’s no denying that Holt’s is hot at 175!! Just look at this party!! The street was closed, people everywhere, free pink popcorn, glow sticks, balloons, party hats, and diet coke in an old fashioned pink Holt’s bottle! If that wasn’t enough, pink and white confetti took over the block (hands down my favourite part….seriously, when does this ever happen?!?!

The Eluxe Party:

Totally glamorous jewelry by Rebekah Price, delicious tequila drinks by Avion Silver (with awesome names like “Autumn Apple”), an insane candy table that makes you pinch yourself to see if you’re dreaming by Megan Wappel Designs, and only 100 blazers made specifically by Smythe (only the best blazer brand out there!!) for the Eluxe party.

Hazelton Lanes’ Shopping Soiree:

Hazelton Lanes was the “it” spot for endless shopping!! An added bonus: getting a make-up make over, booming music, more delicious drinks, the launch of Jameson Kane‘s collection in TNT, and a chance to sit down, talk and get your picture taken with Jeanne Beker. I had a blast shopping the collections and meeting the designers of the following brands: Snea Varma, Amrin Huq of Seru, Kathy Benjamin-Straczynski of Miranda Designs, Kristen Melville-Laborde of Laborde Designs, Gillian Davis of Bijoux Bead, and Stacey Bafi-Yeboa of Kania. You’ll definitely be seeing more from these designers on my blog in the future.

Did you explore Fashion’s Night Out? What was your favourite part?
