Did you know that Toronto’s downtown core alone has over 1400 homeless women, and it only costs $5.60 to feed one of these women three nurishing meals and healthy snacks each day?!
If you’re anything like me, you don’t even blink an eye about spending that kind of money on a latte; which is perfectly acceptable – we have have our vices. But, it does help put into perspective how easy it is to make a difference in someone’s life!
Come make a difference on May 15th at the Gala Of Light, held at The Spoke Club on King Street West.
There will be amazing entertainment by singer Shawnee, Violinist Yosvani Castaneda, and DJ Lisa Monnet; an excellent silent auction; cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
Let’s mingle, dance and sip cocktails together for a great cause! By having a fun night out we can help Street Haven at the Crossroads continue serving the women in our own community for the 49th year!
