It has recently become a little tradition that I take my mom to high tea once a year (although I’m thinking once a year is not nearly enough!). Last year we went to The Windsor Arms Hotel, and it was splendid. This year, we decided to venture out to Streetsville because The Tea Room had been highly recommended my friends.
My mother and I concluded that it lived up to the hype. Everything was excellent – the building, the staff, the tea cups, and of course the tea and food! Another bonus?! Are you sitting down? The high tea at The Tea Room in Streetsville was only $18.75/person. Yes, I said $18.75. I was amazed. High tea is can get pretty pricy in the city (although I definitely recommend it), so if you’re looking for a more affordable option that is just as charming, head out to The Tea Room in Streetsville, you won’t be disappointed!
What I’m Wearing – Dress: Address Apparel | Heels: Jessica Simpson, similar Jessica Simpson | Handbag: Kate Spade | Bracelet: Kate Spade | Earrings: Joe Fresh
By the end of the high tea, my mom and I were so full (and satisfied) we thought we were going to have to be wheeled out! My favourtie part of the high tea (beside the tea that is), were the scones. To.Die.For. As we left the building, my mom and I were already plotting our return for tea and scones!
Where have you been to high tea? I’d love to hear about various locations that I should try out!

I hear they host tea parties for little kids in streetsville too (fun! And a great birthday idea), and I think they have a nice place near us in terra cotta which I’ve been meaning to try.
That’s so adorable!!! You definitely have to take Ainsley, that would be so cute!
So cute and I love all those sweet teacups!
Tea cups are so pretty! I find myself wanting to use them for everything 🙂
