The year 2013 is here; spring summer 2013 however is fast approaching. Once you see what Kara Ross has in store for us, you’ll understand why I anxiously say “Hurry Up Spring!!!” My heart does a little skip every time I open Kara Ross’ ss13 look book!
Here’s a preview of what you can except from her Kara Ross handbag collection, as well as her Kara by Kara Ross jewelry collection:
All pieces of the Kara Ross collections are made out of the head office in New York. It all started when Kara was a young girl on a safari in Africa with her parents, where she got to choose a native gemstone of her choice, and then make it into jewelry when she arrived home. Now, Kara Ross is a talented gemologist and most known for her bold and unique use of exotic skins and gemstones. Her inspiration for this spring/summer 2013 was to bring elements from her fine jewelry collection to her boutique one. Her fine jewelry collection can be seen at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the Museum of Arts and Design in New York and the San Diego Natural History Museum. It was also exhibited in the GIA Museum in 2012.
