Lauren Conrad’s Stylish Home Decor

For some reason these photos put me at ease; they calm me down; I feel comforted when looking at them. Weird? Maybe. But that’s okay with me. ♥  I enjoy the work The Coveteur does with people’s home decor – it’s so inspirational!  Lauren Conrad’s decor stood out to me because of it’s dream-like colour pallet and vintage ambiance.  Apparently she tore the pages out of a book and posted them on the wall (image number six), and says they flutter when the windows are open. This is what I imagine if I did that in my own place:

Myself, sitting on a vintage inspired couch (like in the last picture). I’m taking a sip out of an antique china tea cup as the wind lightly blows through my open french windows, making my sheer white curtains gently dance. I see the pages on the wall start to move; and as  I close my eyes to hear them flutter, I feel a soft breeze across my face and smell the fresh roses from the garden.

Hmmm, seems peaceful. One of my philosophies: Never stop dreaming, because your dreams are what inspire creativity.
