MATIS by Lucian Matis – Toronto Fashion Week

Full of bright colours and fabulous prints, this spring/summer 2013 MATIS by Lucian Matis collection (shown at Toronto Fashion Week) had me on the edge of my seat. The collection, entitled Shield, was a mixture of flowing printed silks and embellished sequins, which symbolizes a woman embracing change. Lucian Matis said, “I love the woman who embraces all facets of life and my creations are to empower her. What inspires me most is to see her in all her strength and femininity. I couldn’t ask for more.”
