As the weather starts to get colder I take a look at this outfit longing for spring/summer again. Though I don’t “mind” the cold (aka I live in Canada and have no choice but to deal with it), I wish, for 11 months of the year, it was warm out – leaving December to cuddle up by the fire during snow storms.
I have a few outfits to share with you in the coming weeks, that definitively aren’t season appropriate without a big coat or tights; but if you make proper adjustments to the look to keep yourself warm, they can still provide a lot of style inspiration.
With this outfit, I decided to go old school and tie a knot in my tank top – just to change things up a bit. Normally I would have tucked my top into my midi skirt, but I was feeling the need for a bit of change, and was pleasantly happy with the results.
Do you have any easy style tricks up your sleeves for those days you want to change things up? I’d love to hear what they are! Let me know in the comment section at the end of this post.
