I’m not afraid of colour. Are you?
I often look around the blogosphere (well, on Instagram specifically) and see a whole lot of monochrome colour palettes. I’m talking about all, and only, neutrals. While I love this colour palette a lot, because it looks très chic, I am a huge fan of colour. But, sometimes it can make me feel like an outsider.
What I have learned from posting outfits on my blog over the past few years, is how important it is to keep doing what brings me joy. If I was someone who loved to wear only neutrals, that’s great. But I’m not; and how sad would it be if I lost the joy I get from wearing colour just because I didn’t feel like it was “the way to dress” (insert meaning: the way a lot of cool bloggers dress)?!
So, if there is ever a point in your life when you feel like you shouldn’t do, or wear, something that gives you joy, just because other people are doing it differently; then I hope you remember this post, and gain confidence to be the real you, and do what makes you happy.
I’d love to hear about any similar stories you have; so you can inspire all of us too! Share them with us in the comment section at the end of the post; or find me social media!

Victoria
