I love flipping through pictures of outfits from the CFDA [Council of Fashion Designers of America] Awards because it’s not often we get to see the designers themselves grace the red carpet; but when we do, it’s a site to be seen! Like most of you, I love seeing celebrities at awards shows because they wear the most glamorous gowns (and we still see them at the CFDA Awards, don’t worry!). Glamorous gowns that were designed by someone talented and that needs to be recognized!
We often hear people say (and I am a guilty of this as well), “Did you see ::insert celebrity name::’s dress!?” Instead of saying “Did you see the ::insert designers name:: dress that ::insert celebrity name:: was wearing?” The CFDA awards recognizes designers’ talents and achievements, which is so important!.
