I never knew the love of rain gear until this Sevan Cape from Trout Rainwear came into my life. I was never a huge fan of rain unless I was warm and dry inside; then I thought it was beautiful.
I know now that I was missing out – because with my Trout rain cape on I’m fearless. I pull on the large hood, tuck in my arms, hide my entire purse under the cape, and continue on doing what I do. I like the idea that I can pull my arms through the hidden slits if I must.
Every year (usually on more occasions than one) my family visits the Muskoka Heritage Museum, in Huntsville, to take a ride on the Portage Flyer Train. My dad loves trains, so it has become quite the tradition.
This year, it happened to be a rainy day. Normally, due to the rainy weather, I would have dreaded the experience; instead (all thanks to my new best friend – aka my rain cape) I saw it as a new adventure.
What I’m Wearing:
Trout Rainwear ‘Sevan’ Cape // Marc by Marc Jacobs cross body handbag (similar here, here and here) // Gap jeans // Havaianas thong sandals (similar brown; and I also love this leopard pair) // Hot Pink Nails: Gel Polish from a nail salon (similar Butter, OPI, Essie)
I’d love to hear from you! Has a piece of clothing ever changed your perspective on life? Let me know – I want to hear all about it in the comment section below!
