As the weather gets colder and colder, I tend to dress more cozy and comfortable – and sometimes that means more casual.
I mean, let’s be real here…when you go a farm to pick out a Christmas tree, you (most likely) aren’t going to be wearing a dress and high heels. When you’re running around the city on the weekend and it’s either freezing or there’s a snow storm, you (most likely) aren’t going to be wearing a dress and high heels. You opt for a cozy, comfortable, and casual outfit.
The outfit I’m wearing here is has been my fall/winter weekend uniform lately (for casual, everyday adventures). What’s yours?
I’m really excited about my new Bench top and vest. I picked them out because I wanted something I could wear running outside in the winter (I have a wind breaker type jacket to wear over top) that would keep me warm – but also something that I could wear as everyday clothes and still look stylish while exploring the city.
I’m always a fan of clothes that have more than one purpose – what about you?
I’m also really excited about my new Cougar boots. I got them right before the first snow storm we had here in Toronto, so the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. The snow has pretty much all melted away now, but you bet it will be back; and you bet my feet will be ready for it!
Oh ya, speaking of winter – what do you think about my Christmas wreath? I’m pretty sure I’m bias, but I do think it’s just about the most fabulous thing ever. 😉 I made it at Delight Floral Design‘s Wreath Making Workshop the other weekend; which was so.much.fun. I’ll post about it soon – so stay tuned.
