Toronto Fashion Week Day #5

Unfortunately fashion week is over – although I must admit, it was exhausting!! I love fashion week for many reasons, but one is that it shows off what amazing Toronto Designers we have  (and some out-of-area Canadian Designers). I find that a lot of the time Canadian Designers are overlooked, which is a shame because we have so much talent in this country!! So, in honour of their incredible skill, I’d like to take the next few days to show you my favourites from the designers who showed during Toronto’s World MasterCard Fashion Week, who I have not yet had a chance to feature – I don’t want you to miss out on hearing about a great label because I didn’t post it! :S

Dare to Wear Love is a charity fashion show that raises money to fight against HIV and AIDS in Africa through the support of the Stephen Lewis Foundation. All of the designs from this show were fantastic, but my top eight favourites are by the following designers (in order of photo): Linda Lundström, Ines Di Santo, Zoran Dobric, Rory Lindo and Kelly Freedman for Damzels in This Dress, Lida Baday, David Dixon, Adrian Wu, Brian Bailey. This show was a wonderful finale to a fabulous week!!
