Tonight officially marks the beginning of Toronto Fashion Week – one of my favourite times of year. Luckily it occurs twice a year, because once is just not enough! This week some of Toronto’s most talented designers will be showcasing their fall winter 2013 collections – so get excited! Due to my hectic TFW schedule I may not be posting about the shows right away – but follow me on twitter, instagram and facebook for “in the moment” photos of the shows! It kicks off at 5pm with MIZ by Izzy Camilleri!

Toronto has a seriously talented group of designers, so get excited to see what they’ve come up with for FW13! I’ll be all the WMCFW shows, minus a few while I help Toronto based stylist Tricia Hall backstage with VAWK.

LOVE this post but am sad to see Holts won’t be in it in future, though I suppose it ought to show Cdn. designers rather than stores.
I was also sad they weren’t showing. And I agree, showing off Canadian Designers is key, but Holts carries a lot, so they should showcase their local stock!
You are right. I would think even more so with the new, younger stores opening in Montreal and Toronto.
