One of my favourite Canadian brands, VAWK, just announced they are launching a sister brand “VAWKKIN” which is huge and extremely exciting news!! VAWKKIN will have a similar design aesthetic to VAWK, but is targeted at a young professional woman who is fashion forward. It will be designed to take the VAWKKIN woman from day to night, in blacks and neturals; at a more attainable price point than the original brand VAWK.
We’ll get a sneak peak of the VAWKKIN collection this coming spring, but in the mean time, the following garments are some of my favourites from the VAWK SS2012 and 2012 Resort Collections:

I’m really excited to see what Sonny Fong, creative director of VAWK, has in store for his new VAWKKIN line. I adore all of his current designs for VAWK and I think creating a more attainable line for a working professional is a smart move for the brand!
